EUCHARISTIC GATHERING AT THE HOLY CHURCH OF ST FOTINI IN PONTE-NOIRE

On Sunday 10th January 2016, His Grace Panteleimon Bishop of Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon conducted the Divine Liturgy and preached the homily in the Holy Parish Church of St Fotini which is under construction in Pointe-Noire.
Before the end of the Eucharist, he praised the Church Council and particularly the active and pious Chairman of the Council Mr. Armand-Michel Massa for beginning the placing of the windows in the beautiful church. He then gave toys to the little children of the Parish, who despite the heavy rains had filled the Church, for the New Year
Note that during this period the construction work of three Parish Churches in the Holy Diocese are continuing – these are the Cathedral of St Dimitrios in Pointe-Noire, St Fotini in Pointe-Noire and of the Forerunner-St Nicholas in Impfondo (Northern Congo).
The hope of the local Church is paced in the Arch-Shepherd Christ to enlighten those pure souls who will contribute in whatever measure possible towards the completion of these Churches for the evangelization of our indigenous Orthodox brothers and sisters.
