This month, the Orthodox Christian Mission Center is asking for donations for seminaries abroad. One of OCMC’s main goals is not only to bring Orthodox Christianity to those who do not know Christ, but to train clergy and lay leaders in their home country to continue the work of the Church in the absence of missionaries. This allows for the church to be self-sustaining. It allows people across the globe to not only hear of Christ, but to continue growing in Orthodox Christian...ity as it is integrated into their life and culture. As the church grows, so does the need to raise up and educate church leaders so that they can continue Christ’s work in their own country. The seminaries in these countries rely on gifts to continue teaching and training the students who will lead these parishes. This is such a worthy cause. Please consider donating to the growth of Orthodox Christianity abroad by supporting the seminaries in Albania and Kenya that provide training for future church leaders.
