PROGRESS OF THE BUILDING WORKS OF THE HOLY PARISH CHURCH OF ST FOTINI POINTE-NOIRE


On 3rd September 2016, His Grace Panteleimon, Bishop of Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon visited the construction site of the Holy Parish Church of St Photini in the Mpaka suburb of Pointe-Noire.
During his visit he had length collaboration with Mr, Romeo Gomez, who is in charge of the building works of the Holy Diocese, with whom he examined all the details regarding the progress of the works. Already, the windows and doors of the Church have been placed, the electrical installations have been completed and individual additional construction is progressing.
To all the workers, His Grace expressed his satisfaction, and particularly praised the respected and hard working Chairman of the Parish Council of St Photini, Mr. Michel Armand Massa, Member of the Diocesan Council of the local Church of Congo-Brazzaville, for his multiple benefactions to the Church, the Parish Community and the Holy Diocese.
The meeting ended with the prayer and the expectation of the forthcoming of those pious Christians who will assist as much as they are able to, to the sowing of the Gospel word on the African equator.
