"Today his eminence archbishop Makarios celebrated the divine liturgy at st sofia Gikambura with him about 2dozens of priests participated.during the liturgy ordained to deaconate the catechist of st Frumentios Ngong mwalimu Paul Sankare.After the liturgy his eminence clergy and all the faithuls went out at the grave of the late papathia Sofia Ndwaru where a memorial was conducted. The archbishop in his sermon emphasized the wonderful work which papathia did for the church he urged all the faithuls to follow the good example of papathia if they want to be welcomed by Jesus during his second caming.speaking to the newly ordained deacon Paul the archbishop welcomed him to priests service and invited him to be humble and ready to serve others with a lot of love and dedication."
